Accepting Booking Requests

Learn how to review, accept, and manage incoming session requests from students.

How Booking Requests Work

When a student books with you, here's what happens:

  1. 1Student selects a time from your availability
  2. 2You receive a notification about the request
  3. 3Review the request details and student info
  4. 4Accept or decline within 24 hours

Reviewing a Request

Each booking request shows:

Student Information

Name, profile, and any previous session history

Requested Time

Date, time, and session duration

Session Details

Subject and any notes the student provided

Payment Info

Session price and payment status

Accepting or Declining

Accept

  • • Confirms the session
  • • Student is notified
  • • Added to your calendar
  • • Payment is processed

Decline

  • • Cancels the request
  • • Student is notified
  • • No payment charged
  • • Time slot reopened

Response Time

Respond to booking requests as quickly as possible:

24-Hour Window

Requests automatically expire after 24 hours if not responded to. Expired requests hurt your response rate and may affect your visibility.

<1 hour: Excellent response time
1-12 hours: Good response time
>12 hours: Needs improvement
