Finding Pros
Discover the perfect pro for your goals using Home recommendations, search, and filters.
Home recommendations
Home leads with two featured cards so you can book faster:
- 1If you recently finished a session, the first card is Book again with that pro. Tap Book again to open their profile and schedule.
- 2The other card is This week's match - a high-quality pro matched to your interests. If you have not had a recent session, Home shows two matches instead.
- 3Tap the X to hide that pro until next week. We immediately fill the slot with the next-best match when one is available.
Using the Discover Tab
The Discover tab is your gateway to finding pros:
- 1Open the app and tap the Discover tab
- 2Browse pro cards showing their name, expertise, and hourly rate
- 3Tap any pro to view their full profile
Searching by Subject
Use the search bar to find pros in specific subjects:
- Type a subject like "Math", "Python", or "Spanish"
- Results update in real-time as you type
- Searches match the specific skill you type, plus names and bios. “Piano lessons” finds piano teachers, not every pro who offers some kind of lessons
Using Filters
Narrow down your search with filters:
My Interests
Discover and Packages start filtered to the interests saved on your profile, and the line under the search bar lists them. Tap any one to see just that skill, tap the chip to clear it and browse everything, or use Edit to change what you're interested in. Searching for a skill that is already in that list shows Already selected instead of adding it again. If nothing is available in your interests yet, we show you everything instead.
Price Range
Set minimum and maximum hourly rates to find pros within your budget.
Rating
Filter by minimum rating to find highly-rated pros.
Availability
Show only pros available on specific days or times.
Location
Find pros in your area (for in-person sessions where available).

When evaluating pros, consider:

Does their expertise match what you need help with?
Experience Level
Check their background and years of experience
Reviews
Read what other clients say about their sessions
Response Time
How quickly they typically respond to inquiries
