Managing Time Slots

Configure specific hours for each day to give students precise booking options.

What Are Time Slots?

Time slots define the specific hours you're available each day:

Example: Monday

Slot 1: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Slot 2: 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Slot 3: 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Adding Time Slots

To add a new time slot:

  1. 1Go to Availability settings
  2. 2Select a day (e.g., Monday)
  3. 3Tap Add time slot
  4. 4Set the start and end time
  5. 5Save your changes

Editing & Removing Slots

Edit a Slot

Tap on the time to edit start or end times using the time picker.

Remove a Slot

Tap the trash icon next to a slot to remove it. Requires at least one slot per enabled day.

Using Multiple Slots

Multiple time slots per day are useful for:

Split Schedules

Available mornings and evenings but not afternoons

Lunch Breaks

Block off personal time in the middle of the day

Different Rates

Some tutors offer different rates for peak vs off-peak hours

Buffer Time

Leave gaps between time slots to give yourself breaks. For example, instead of 9 AM - 12 PM and 12 PM - 3 PM, use 9 AM - 12 PM and 12:30 PM - 3:30 PM for a 30-minute break between sessions.

Time Slot Tips

  • • Make slots at least 1 hour for practical session lengths
  • • Consider your target audience's typical schedules
  • • Evening slots are popular for working professionals
  • • Morning slots work well for students
  • • Be consistent week-to-week so students can book recurring times
