Control how and when you receive updates about messages, bookings, and sessions.

Types of Notifications

You can receive notifications for:

Messages

When tutors send you messages or respond to your inquiries.

Booking Updates

Session confirmations, cancellations, and rescheduling.

Session Reminders

Reminders before your upcoming sessions (24 hours, 1 hour, 15 minutes).

Notification Channels

Choose how you want to be notified:

Push Notifications

Instant alerts on your phone even when the app is closed.

Email

Detailed notifications with session info and receipts.

Managing Your Settings

To customize your notification preferences:

  1. 1Go to ProfileSettings
  2. 2Tap Notifications
  3. 3Toggle each notification type on or off
  4. 4Select your preferred channels for each type

Quiet Hours

Set times when you don't want to be disturbed:

Default: 10 PM - 7 AM

Notifications are silenced during these hours by default

Customizable

Adjust the quiet hours to match your schedule

Critical Alerts

Session reminders within 1 hour still come through

Not Receiving Notifications?

  • • Check that notifications are enabled in your phone's settings
  • • Make sure Profound has notification permissions
  • • Verify your email address is correct in account settings
  • • Check your spam folder for email notifications
