Notification Settings
Control how and when you receive updates about messages, bookings, and sessions.
Types of Notifications
You can receive notifications for:
Messages
When tutors send you messages or respond to your inquiries.
Booking Updates
Session confirmations, cancellations, and rescheduling.
Session Reminders
Reminders before your upcoming sessions (24 hours, 1 hour, 15 minutes).
Notification Channels
Choose how you want to be notified:
Push Notifications
Instant alerts on your phone even when the app is closed.
Detailed notifications with session info and receipts.
Managing Your Settings
To customize your notification preferences:
- 1Go to Profile → Settings
- 2Tap Notifications
- 3Toggle each notification type on or off
- 4Select your preferred channels for each type
Quiet Hours
Set times when you don't want to be disturbed:
Default: 10 PM - 7 AM
Notifications are silenced during these hours by default
Customizable
Adjust the quiet hours to match your schedule
Critical Alerts
Session reminders within 1 hour still come through
Not Receiving Notifications?
- • Check that notifications are enabled in your phone's settings
- • Make sure Profound has notification permissions
- • Verify your email address is correct in account settings
- • Check your spam folder for email notifications
