Notification Settings
Control how and when you receive updates about messages, bookings, sessions, and matching packages.
Types of Notifications
You can receive notifications for:
Messages
When pros send you messages or respond to your inquiries.
Booking Updates
Session confirmations, cancellations, and rescheduling.
Session Reminders
Reminders before your upcoming sessions. For video or mixed sessions, a Join session banner appears on Home and at the top of every page when the session is about to start. On iPhone, a live Lock Screen card also shows a countdown and Join. In-person reminders have no Join button. They tell you to meet in person and include the location when one is on file. After a session ends, we also ask you to rate your pro. The card shows their photo and when the session happened. Tap a star to submit. A written review is optional.
Package Matches
On iPhone, a weekly alert when we find a package that matches your interests. It shows the package photo, title, and price. Tap View (or the alert) to open that package. Tap Not now to dismiss it. That does not turn matching off.
Notification Channels
Choose how you want to be notified:
Push Notifications
Instant alerts on your phone even when the app is closed.
Detailed notifications with session info and receipts.
Managing Your Settings
To customize your notification preferences:
- 1Go to Profile → Settings
- 2Tap Notifications
- 3Toggle each notification type on or off, including Package Matches on iPhone
- 4Select your preferred channels for each type
Quiet Hours
Set times when you don't want to be disturbed:
Default: 10 PM - 7 AM
Notifications are silenced during these hours by default
Customizable
Adjust the quiet hours to match your schedule
Critical Alerts
Session reminders within 1 hour still come through
Not Receiving Notifications?
- • Check that notifications are enabled in your phone's settings
- • Make sure Profound has notification permissions
- • Verify your email address is correct in account settings
- • Check your spam folder for email notifications
